task 3 composition

this is the composition which i have made by using a MIDI keyboard with  cubase, this composition shows my understanding of major and minor scales as well as chord progression and also melodic content. this composition shows how i have learned and responded to different types of effects and editing tools which i have used in my composition to get the best out of my work . also this is has been achieved doing the best work i am able to do using the best of my ability's using cubase.

rhythm exercises

i have being playing these rhythms using different fingers with my right and left hand on the keyboards and i have being doing this to learn how to be more creative and to also have more control over my keyboard playing.
if i was going to use the same rhythms every time i was trying to right a piece of music i would not be being creative enough. by learning how to control my hand using these different exercises i am allowing myself the opportunity to push myself both musically and technically. i have found many more of these and will be practising them as part as my routine.

chord progressions

here are six chord progressions . chord progressions are chords which are played in a different way every time but are put together or played a certain way to create or to fit  a song. chord progressions are good because you can enter a chord progression with your left hand while playing a melody over the top of your chords with a melody using your right hand.

Research and learning a new piece of music with two hands.

using what information which i have learned during researching keyboard techniques. i have decided to set myself a challenge of learning a new piece of music using two hands on the piano easily.

i have researched these following chords, scales and techniques that will give me the advantage and understanding what i need to do in order to play successfully.

Hand posture and comfort are vitally important while playing the piano or keyboard. Poor hand posture can cause your performance to suffer for two reasons:
Lack of dexterity: If your hands are in tight, awkward positions, you can't access the keys quickly and efficiently. Your performance will sound clumsy and be full of wrong notes.
Potential for cramping: If your hands cramp often, you won't practice often. If you don't practice often, you won't be a very good player.

Good piano playing is only possible if we are comfortably seated at the piano. Therefore, at the beginning of every lesson and practice session, we arrange our piano bench so that it's the best height for playing and the best distance from the piano.

The best height is one which both allows the elbow/upper arm to fall freely from the shoulder, and allows the forearm to be parallel to the floor when the forearm and hand are in their natural shape -- the way they are when the hand is hanging at the side.

The best distance is one which allows our elbows to rest slightly in front of our center line when our hands are in a neutral position on the keyboard, with our hands in front of the elbows (i.e., not in front of the body or at the extremes of the keyboard).

I must remember to keep my hands curved like I am holding a ball when I play when I am composing a piece of music using the MIDI keyboards.

What I will do next
i am going to work and also practice on my technique so i am good and better when i am  doing composition and also get used to using two hands while playing a piece of music on the piano. and also how to use the keyboard correctly.

Five finger exercises
Create an original keyboard exercise to a drum loop in reason using my left and my right hand.

evidence
Right 1 3 5 2 4 1 3 5 2 4
Left 1 4 1 4 2 3 5 5 5 5 5 4 4 4 4 4 3

Summary
I have 2 exercises to practice and also learn  to play in time

What will I do?
Create more so I can improve my techniques.
